After the successful approval given by the audience and the critics to its 4th edition, the SUESSOLA FILM FESTIVAL proved to be once again a box of contents: with the Career Prize to Giuseppe Ferrara (the popular film director of “Giovanni Falcone” and “I banchieri di Dio”), with the Prize for Campania-born talents to the Neapolitan actress Anna Ammirati, the “Don Salvatore D’Angelo” Prize given by the students from the “Fondazione del Villaggio dei Ragazzi” for the “Cinema of Values”; the 5th edition is being organized at the shopping centre CENTRO CAMPANIA in Marcianise, which with its 11 movie theatres, its squares, “streets”, bars, restaurants, shops and a giant screen becomes the ideal set to host the 2008 great event which will be enriched both in its contents and in its forms.

SUESSOLA FILM FESTIVAL is now cooperating with new partners which will present the latest high tech digital devices during courses, seminars, conferences and talks involving photography directors, film directors, actors, producers, assemblers and young aspiring filmakers who will shoot short films and sketches in the “streets” of the shopping centre CAMPANIA.

Durind those days the festival will turn into a workshop of young talents to be launched in the audiovisual market, and the shopping centre CAMPANIA will turn into a movie set, an ideal place where the magic of cinema will materialize the stories of the Centre which will be later screened on the giant screen in “Piazza Campania” (inside the shopping centre).

The great event SUESSOLA FILM FESTIVAL will close with a gala night in “Piazza Campania” and a multimedia show during the which a symphony orchestra will play the most beautiful sountracks ever, with the scenes from those films screened on the giant screen.

There are all the elements to make SUESSOLA FILM FESTIVAL a great event. The association between the spaces of the shopping centre Campania and the contents of our festival can be the recipe for success for a quality project aiming at involving also the general public.
